GREENWAY Creative Learning Center

GREENWAY began in response to what I felt was a serious glut in early learning here in the Lehigh Valley. Children generally do not experience the natural world up close and personal on a daily basis. Typical child warehousing programs focus on crowd control, plastic play and rote learning.

In addition to how well a child knows their ABC's and 123's it is crucial that they develop mindfulness, coping skills, a sense of their authentic place in the natural world, and the ability to think creatively and critically. By learning to care for their surroundings, experiencing free creative time, having lightly guided natural social interactions, and time for quiet exploration children are able to develop a healthy sense of self, social responsibility and life skills.

One of the greatest assets to our program here at GREENWAY are our teachers. Miss Sara, Miss Victoria and their staff are amazing, bright, kind, patient, articulate and really do love their work. They bring their knowledge of organic gardening and cooking, yoga, child development, art, sustainable living to our unique program.

All presented in a common sense, back to basics format designed to provide your child with the ideal pace and space for discovering their world.

GREENWAY Whitehall is situated in a farmhouse on 1.5 beautiful, wooded acres, just off Schadt Avenue and Mauch Chunck Road and serves both the Parkland and Whitehall-Coplay School Districts. GREENWAY Bethlehem serves the industrial park as well as Hanover Township and is located just off of Rts. 512 & 22 on Highland Avenue.
